Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced BGA Rework Operator to support PCBA production and RMA activities. In this role, you will be responsible for reworking Ball Grid Array (BGA) and similar components, including component replacement and re-soldering, using specialized BGA and PCBA rework equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform BGA rework for production and RMA units using BGA and other PCBA rework equipment
Replace, re-solder, and rework BGA or similar components per specifications
Set up and operate BGA rework machines and provide operational support as needed
Conduct post-rework inspections using microscopes, X-ray, or other inspection tools
Enter rework and process data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Order replacement components from the stockroom using approved Material Transfer (MT) forms
Follow all safety, ESD, and quality procedures while operating rework equipment
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience performing BGA and similar PCBA rework
Proficiency with BGA and PCBA rework and inspection equipment (e.g., SRT, AirVac)
Basic working knowledge of solder paste and flux chemicals
Familiarity with ESD practices, ISO 9001, and IPC-A-610 quality standards
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent industry experience
Working knowledge of computers and data entry systems
Good verbal communication skills in English
